01Our commitment#
Jactechnology LLC (“Jactechnology”, “we”, “us”) wants everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to use jact.tech: to learn about our services, read our policies and get in touch with us.
Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 (external site), Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including blindness and low vision, deafness and hearing loss, limited movement, speech disabilities, photosensitivity, and some learning and cognitive disabilities.
Accessibility is part of how we build the site, not an add-on. We do not use an accessibility “overlay” widget, and the site does not try to detect whether you use assistive technology. It does respond to settings your device already shares with every website, such as reduce motion, increased contrast and forced colors.
02What this statement covers#
This statement applies to the website at https://jact.tech, including the home page and our legal pages: the Privacy Policy, the Cookie & Storage Notice, the Terms of Use and this statement.
- Our older Multi-Retail AI product overview page (/jcreports2.html) is part of jact.tech but has not yet been reviewed. See Known limitations and alternatives.
- It does not cover websites run by others that we link to or that you choose to use, such as Gmail, Outlook on the web and the W3C website.
- Our client support portal at support.jact.tech is a separate service and is not covered by this statement.
This statement describes our goals and the state of the site on the date shown below. It is provided for information and does not change our Terms of Use.
03Conformance status#
Based on our own evaluation, jact.tech is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not yet fully conform to the standard. The parts we know about are listed in Known limitations and alternatives.
No independent third party has audited or certified the site.
04What we have done#
Structure and navigation
- Semantic HTML with landmarks (header, navigation, main content and footer), one main heading per page and headings in a logical order.
- A “Skip to content” link, the first thing the Tab key reaches.
- The same header, navigation and footer, in the same order, on the home page and every legal page.
- Legal pages open with a short summary and an “On this page” list of links to each section. On narrower screens the list folds up and you can open or close it.
- On smaller screens the menu opens as a full-screen panel that keeps keyboard focus inside it, closes with Esc and returns focus to the Menu button.
Seeing and reading
- Text and background colors are chosen for a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1.
- If your device asks for more contrast, the site raises the contrast of secondary text and borders.
- In forced-colors modes, such as Windows Contrast themes, cards, form fields and buttons keep visible borders, and the focus indicator uses your system’s highlight color.
- A clearly visible focus outline shows where you are when you use the keyboard.
- Content reflows into a single column on screens as narrow as 320 CSS pixels (about the same as 400% zoom in a window 1,280 pixels wide) without scrolling sideways, and text can be enlarged with your browser’s zoom.
- Text is real text, not pictures of text.
- On small screens, tables on the legal pages turn into labelled cards, so you never need to scroll sideways to read them.
- Pages print as black text on a white background.
Images and graphics
- Decorative graphics (the 3D scene, circuit lines, background grids and the large logo watermark) are hidden from screen readers. Anything they suggest is also said in text.
- Logos and icons inside links and buttons are hidden from screen readers, and the link or button has a text name instead, such as “Jactechnology home”. Buttons that show only an icon, such as Minimize or Close, have a spoken name.
- The site has no audio or video.
Motion and animation
- When your device’s “reduce motion” setting is on, we turn off scroll-in animations, tilt and pointer-following effects, color shifts, light pulses, smooth scrolling and the 3D scene.
- The 3D scene on the home page loads only after the page has finished loading, only in browsers that support WebGL 2, and never when reduce motion or a data-saver setting is on or the connection is very slow. If you turn on reduce motion while the page is open, the scene stops and is removed.
- The scene pauses when it is scrolled out of view or when the browser tab is in the background.
- On the home page, a Pause animation button below the logo stops every moving or looping effect, including the 3D scene, until you press it again or leave the page. This choice is not saved anywhere.
- Nothing on the site flashes more than three times per second.
Language
- Every page declares its language. When you switch to Spanish, the page language changes too, so screen readers use the right pronunciation. On the legal pages the Spanish text is marked as Spanish.
- The EN | ES button is a toggle that reports whether Spanish is on, and its spoken name includes the letters you see.
- Your choice is remembered in your browser (the
jt_langsetting) so you don’t have to switch on every page. It is not a cookie and is never sent to us. - We aim to write in plain language and to explain technical terms where we can.
Forms and the contact window
- Every field has a label. The name, email and company fields tell your browser what they are for, so it can fill them in for you.
- Topic choices are standard checkboxes grouped under the label “Topic”.
- If something is missing, the error appears in text next to the field and is linked to it for screen readers, and focus moves to the first field that needs attention. A status line reports what happened after you press Send.
- The contact window works fully with the keyboard. See the Keyboard guide.
- On phones it opens as a full-screen window that keeps keyboard focus inside it until you close it. Focus then returns to where you were.
- The “Send ▾” menu follows the standard menu-button keyboard pattern (arrow keys, Home, End and Esc).
- Short confirmation messages are announced to screen readers, pause while the pointer or keyboard focus is on them, and have a Dismiss button.
- If you discard a draft, an Undo button also stays in the message window, in the status line just above the Send and Discard buttons, with no time limit, until you start a new draft.
- Nothing is sent from our site. Send opens a ready-to-send draft in Gmail (the default), Outlook on the web or your own email app, or you can copy the message or email us directly. The send options say which ones open in a new tab.
- There are no time limits for reading pages or filling in the form.
- The site has no shortcuts that use only a letter, number or punctuation key, so nothing can be triggered by accident while you type or use speech input.
Privacy notice
- The privacy notice does not block the page or take keyboard focus when it appears. Close it with Got it or Esc. Privacy choices, in the footer, reopens it and moves focus to its title.
- Got it saves your choice in your browser (the
jt_consentsetting). It is not a cookie and is never sent to us.
Works without JavaScript
- With JavaScript turned off, all the text on every page is visible and every link works. The contact form becomes a standard form that opens your email app.
- The language switch, the privacy notice and the floating contact window need JavaScript; without it they are simply not shown.
05Keyboard guide#
Everything on the site can be reached and used with the keyboard. These are the keys that matter, following common browser conventions:
| Keys | Where | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Tab / Shift + Tab | Everywhere | Moves to the next or previous link, button or form field. |
| Enter | Links, buttons and expandable sections | Follows the link, presses the button, or opens and closes a section such as an FAQ answer. |
| Space | Buttons, checkboxes and expandable sections | Presses the button, ticks or clears a topic, or opens and closes the section. |
| Esc | Menu (smaller screens) | Closes the menu and returns focus to the Menu button. |
| Esc | Privacy notice | Closes the notice. If you haven’t chosen Got it, it appears again on the next page you open. |
| Ctrl + Enter (Command ⌘ + Enter on a Mac) | Contact window | Checks your message, then sends it with the selected option (Gmail by default). |
| Esc | Floating contact window | Minimizes the window on wider screens or closes it on phones. Your draft is kept. |
| Down Arrow or Up Arrow | “More send options” button (▾) | Opens the list of send options. |
| Down Arrow, Up Arrow, Home, End | Send options list | Moves between options. Enter or Space chooses one; Esc or Tab closes the list. |
06Compatibility and technologies#
jact.tech is designed to work with current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari on computers and mobile devices, and with common screen readers and other assistive technology that support current web standards.
The site relies on these technologies to work with your browser and any assistive technology you use:
- HTML
- CSS
- WAI-ARIA
- SVG
JavaScript adds the language switch, the floating contact window, the send options and the privacy notice, but the content does not depend on it. WebGL 2 is used only for the decorative 3D scene.
07Known limitations and alternatives#
Despite our efforts, some parts of the site are not yet fully accessible. These are the limitations we know about, each with a way around it:
- 3D scene on the home page. It is decorative, hidden from assistive technology and carries no information; when it does not load, the same logo is shown as a still image. To skip it, turn on your device’s reduce-motion setting or open jact.tech/?hero3d=off.
- Floating contact window. On screens 768 pixels wide or wider, the contact window can float over the bottom-right corner of the page, like a new message in Gmail. It is a non-modal dialog: the page behind it stays usable, which some screen reader users may find confusing. Use Return to page, in the window’s title bar, to put it back in the Contact section, or email us directly.
- Gmail and Outlook on the web. These are third-party websites outside our control, and their accessibility is managed by their providers. If they don’t work well for you, choose Open in my email app or Copy message in the send options, or email us directly.
- Spanish needs JavaScript. With JavaScript turned off, pages are shown in English only. If you need the Spanish text another way, email us.
- Multi-Retail AI product overview (/jcreports2.html). This older page has not yet been reviewed against WCAG 2.1 Level AA and may not meet it. If you need any information from it in another format, email us.
We will update this list as we fix these items or find new ones.
08Feedback and alternative formats#
We welcome your feedback. Because we use no analytics, we only learn about a barrier when someone tells us. If something on jact.tech doesn’t work for you, if you need information from the site in another format, or if you have a suggestion, email us:
Email: jcaceres@jactechnologygroup.com (subject “Accessibility”)
It helps if you include:
- the web address of the page;
- what you were trying to do and what went wrong;
- your device, browser and any assistive technology you use, only if you are comfortable sharing it;
- how you would like us to reply, and in what format.
Email is our only public contact channel. You are welcome to ask someone else to write to us for you. You can also use the contact window on our home page; it prepares a draft in your own email service rather than sending anything from our site.
We will do our best to respond and to give you the information you need in another format, such as plain text in an email. We cannot promise a specific response time.
Please share only what you are comfortable sharing about a disability or the tools you use. We use what you send to reply to you and to improve the site, and we keep it as business correspondence as described in our Privacy Policy. This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics or trackers, and honors Global Privacy Control.
09How we assessed this site#
Jactechnology assessed jact.tech by self-evaluation: the team that built the site reviewed it against the WCAG 2.1 Level AA success criteria during development.
No independent third party has audited the site.
10Date and updates#
Effective date: October 5, 2026.
This statement was prepared on October 5, 2026, based on the self-evaluation described above. We will update it when we make significant changes to the site or learn of new limitations, and we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
This statement is published in English and Spanish. If the two versions differ, the English version controls.
